Flight to New Zealand – an unexpected journey

Hello Folks,

using the time at the airport with free WiFi to update travel descriptions. As already posted on Facebook I finally arrived in Christchurch and am now waiting for my car dealer to open.

Before I continue my travel soon, here some explanations what happened so far. In Frankfurt the airplane couldn’t start because some security lights didn’t work. Additionally there is a night flight restriction in Frankfurt and airplanes may not start after 11 p.m. But it took them until 4 a.m. to fix the problem, so that was not really so bad, except that it gave us, the passengers,  some hints when we can expect to start our journey.

Here some impressions from the airport:

In Singapore we had a really short stay and the time was just sufficient to make the next check-in. In Sydney I got my new booking as I missed my flight to New Zealand. Also they gave everyone of us a 30$ voucher that we invested in MC Donald’s and everything else we could eat 🙂
